Scotland to Newcastle Ferry

St Abbs Head Lighthouse was built by the renowned Stevenson family of lighthouse engineers in 1862. We had come across that name before at other lighthouses we have visited this trip. They are the same family as the famous writer Robert Louis Stevenson.
